Plattsburgh Mr. James F. Laware, 70, formerly of Hillcrest Avenue in Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on March 18, 1940, the son of Joseph and Emma (King) Laware. James was employed by Plattsburgh Air Force Base as a mechanic at the gas station and later and a janitor at the Base Exchange, retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. John's Church in Plattsburgh. James is survived by four nieces; Barbara Raines of Oklahoma, Charleen Laudazio of Michigan, Marilyn Breault of Virginia and Gales Brehems of Michigan, three nephews; Ernest Patton of Michigan, Eugene Laware also of Michigan and Richard Brenner of Plattsburgh, NY, several great nieces and great nephews also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 6, 2010 from the Brown Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at 10:15 a. m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
