James E. McCleary, 54, of Little Rock Road, West Chazy, NY, passed away on Friday September 18, 2020 at his home under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Cohoes, NY on September 28, 1965, the son of Raymond and Shelvagean (Seguin) McCleary, Sr.
Jim graduated Saranac High School in 1984 and soon after joined the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1989 and began working for Hershey’s Ice Cream, delivering throughout the North Country. Jim later went on to work for Brink’s Armored Transport, Diebold Inc. as an ATM Technician and lastly A.J. Missert in Watertown, NY. He later became disabled after an ATV accident in 2010 and moved to West Chazy in 2016.
Jim was an avid NASCAR, Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees Fan.
He was predeceased by his father.
Jim is survived by his mother Shelvagean, his wife Pamela, they were married on July 4, 2002, his children; Amanda and Hannah, step children; Thomas and Christopher, a grandson; Arrow, three step-grandchildren; Nicholas, Alyssa and Sydney, his siblings; Raymond (Judy) McCleary, Jr., Shelley (Gil) Stevens, Richard (Roxanne) McCleary and David (Shannon) McCleary, several nieces and nephews, sister-in-law and brothers-in-law also survive him.
Celebration of life will be private and the convenience of his family
