James E Trudeau

James E. Trudeau, 67, of Downs Road, Cadyville, NY, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. He was born in Plattsburgh on April 24, 1954 the son of Everest and Theresa (Ryan) Trudeau.
Jim graduated from Saranac Central School in 1972. He worked for Morrisonville Construction for several years. He then went on to work as a heavy equipment operator for Luck Brothers Construction for 42 years before retiring in 2012. Jim was a member of the Cadyville Fire Dept. for several years. He enjoyed hunting, horses, NASCAR, watching tv, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Everest.
Jim is survived by his wife Cindy, they were married on February 15, 1991, his children; Erin O’Keefe and her husband Damon of Tappan, NY and Adam Trudeau and his wife Samantha of Plattsburgh, his grandchildren; Payton and James O’Keefe and Ayla and Lexi Trudeau, his siblings; Mary Tetreault, Patricia Gaudette, Nancy Coupal, Sally Peryer, Frank Trudeau and Rebecca Rainey, several nieces and nephews also survive him.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday September 12, 2021 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Cadyville. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
