Jane Ruth Trombley

Jane Ruth Trombley, 85, of Sorrell Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2015 at UVHN : Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown, NY. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 30, 1930 the daughter of Hermas and Margaret (Signor) Rabideau. Jane married Joseph Trombley on February 1, 1947 at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. She enjoyed reading, playing BINGO, crocheting, knitting, puzzles and watching the game shows. Jane was predeceased by her husband Joseph, a son Joseph "Butch" Trombley, a grandson Travis Trombley and her siblings; Robert, Fredrick, Mildred, Elizabeth and Joyce. She is survived by three daughters; Sandra LaBarre and her husband Lawrence of Saranac, NY, Barbara Jean Tessier and her husband Daniel of Hampton, NH and Maryann Bushey and her husband Scott of Plattsburgh, ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two sisters; Barbara Willette of Mooers and Enda Sorrell of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
