Janet S Bouyea

Janet S. Bouyea, 83, of Flynn Avenue and formerly of Margaret Street, Plattsburgh, New York, passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on October 20, 1928 the daughter of Theodore and Edith (Bouvia) Doucette. Janet was a member of St. Peter's Church and the North Country Squares. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, shopping and square dancing. Janet's greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and her family. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Lester Bouyea and two brothers; Gerald and Allen Doucette. Janet is survived by two children; Lynda Hackett and her companion Sal Rios of Plattsburgh and Ricky Bouyea, four grandchildren; Laurie Brown, Shelby Spear and her husband Dwight, Jesse and Samantha Bouyea, her great grandchildren; Eryn Devins and her husband Chadd, Courtney Facteau, Adam Facteau, Haleigh Spear and Jaedon Spear, two great great grandsons; Mason Facteau and Chadd Devins, Jr., two sisters; Hope Doucette and Dolores Young both of Plattsburgh, Peggy Supernault who was like a daughter, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 3, 2012 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
