Jason S Hilliker

Jason S. Hilliker, 46, of Parker Road in West Chazy, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on October 31, 1974, the son of David Barker and Brenda (Hilliker) Bertrand.
Jason was employed at Giroux Poultry for many years and enjoyed Sunday drives with his younger son Keegan, fishing with his older son Coty, sitting by the campfire. He loved cooking and barbequing and was the biggest practical joker.
He is survived by his wife Melinda (Armstrong) Hilliker, his children; Coty Hilliker and companion Alexis Maneeley, Keegan Hilliker, his mother and step father; Brenda and William Bertrand, his grandmother; Gladys Hilliker, his sisters; Jennifer Bertrand, Rebecca Bertrand, Heather (Kevin) Krone and Holly Barker and her fiancé Derick Alsept, his brother and sister in law; Andrew and Samantha Bertrand, a stepbrother William A Bertrand, his aunt and uncle; Tracey Hilliker and Calvin Hilliker, his mother in law; Cynthia Cushman, Melinda’s grandmother; Bertha Armstrong, a brother in law; Joseph Armstrong, and several nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his father David Barker, his grandfather Raymond Hilliker, and an uncle Terry Hilliker
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
