Plattsburgh Mrs. Jean Esposito, of, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington, VT. She was born in Patterson, NJ on December 22, 1927 the daughter of Antonio and Maria (Passarella) Franchino. She is survived by her sons Anthony Esposito and his wife Pam of Morrisonville, and Thomas Esposito of Plattsburgh and daughters Barbara Place, Peru, Cecilia Esposito, Morrisonville, daughter in law, Angela Esposito and her husband Rudy Brouwer, Plattsburgh and one sister Marguret Still of Downey California. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Thomas Esposito, and her children Pasquale, Stephen, Leonora, Rosemarie, Elizabeth and her siblings, Dominic Franchino, Pompton Lakes, NJ, Michael Franchino, and Mimi Cappuccino, of West Nyack, NYReverend Monsignor Anthony Franchino, Josaphine Borzellino, Marie Dumas, Julia Tarsitano, and Theresa Negratto from W Patterson, NJ. Jean raised a large family of nine children and at the time of her death had ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Alexander's Parish in Morrisonville, NY and was active in the St. Alexander's School Mothers Club and the Cub Scouts in the 1960's. Jean spent many hours in prayer before the Eucharist Lord at the Holy Family Adoration Chapel at St. John's Church. She trained as a practical nurse in child care at the Foundling Hospital in NYC and held positions at the Albany Medical Center and CVPH Medical Center where she retired in 1990. She was a keen historian and enjoyed traveling numerous times to Europe. Upon her request there will be no wake and a private Mass will be held for her children and grandchildren at St. Alexander' s Church in Morrisonville, followed by interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Plattsburgh.
