Jeanne C. Lydon

Jeanne C. Lydon, 100, of Plattsburgh passed away peacefully on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility. She was born on March 25, 1924 in Doylestown, PA. Her family moved to Scranton, PA when she was a young child. She married the love of her life, John Lydon, on May 17, 1947. Jeanne was an avid bridge player and loved watching Penn State football, professional tennis and golf, and most of all, her family. She is survived by her children, Patrick Lydon and his wife Stevi, Catherine Mazurak, Kevin Lydon and his wife Linda, grandchildren John Lydon, Kari Lydon, Jennifer Mellegers, Kimberly Mazurak, Gavin Mazurak and his wife Sara, great grandchildren Haley, Patrick, William and Clara. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband John, daughter-in-law Susan Lydon, her siblings Harry Stultz and Marie Burleigh. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to her private aides for their loving care prior to and during her stay at Meadowbrook; Jane, Marilyn, Joy, Jane, Polin and Kumary, and to the staff of Meadowbrook.
