Beekmantown Mr. Jeffrey L. "Jeff" King, 52, of Burke Road in Beekmantown, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the home of his parents with family by his side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on June 22, 1961, the son of Ellsworth and Judith "Judy" (Rabideau) King. Jeff graduated from Beekmantown Central School, Class of 1979. He was a graduate of BOCES and was a certified welder. Jeff was a talented welder and known for his metal fabricating. He enjoyed kayaking, boating, biking, camping, hiking, flower and vegetable gardening and mostly working. Jeff is survived by his parents Ellsworth and Judy King of Plattsburgh, his companion Ronda Augustus of Beekmantown, his brother Jamie King of Plattsburgh, a nephew Tyler King of Plattsburgh, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him as well as his canine and feline companions. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents Mae and Leo Rabideau and his paternal grandparents Juanita and George King. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church, Morrisonville. Memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country.
