Jerald E Goucher Sr

Keeseville Jerald E. Goucher, Sr., 68, of Bens Lane in Keeseville, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at his home in the arms of his wife. He was born in Clintonville on December 3, 1948, the son of the late Adrian and Alice (Pierce) Goucher. Jerald was employed for Plattsburgh Air Force Base Maintenance and Grounds Department until it closed. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing, plowing and mostly spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Light) Goucher, his children and their spouses; Andrew and Lisa Prairie of Texas, Windy Holmes and companion Benji of Peru, Tonya and Ray Ouimette of Plattsburgh, his siblings and their spouses; Phillip and Shelly Goucher, Leslie Goucher, Robert Goucher, Lisa Schiltz, Andrea Provost, 8grandchildren; Alyssa, Kaylin, Haley, Naomi, Tyler, Ryan, Jerald M. and Jacob, 2 great grandchildren; Kameron and Hailey, 2 sisters in law and a brother in law; Robert and Donna Conlon, JoAnn DuBuke, a brother in law and sister in law; John and Cheryl Light, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Jerald E. Goucher, Jr., his father Adrian Frank Goucher, his mother; and step father Alice and Roscoe Irwin and a brother Gary Goucher. Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Keeseville on Tuesday, July 18, 2107 at 10:00am.
