Jessie Shelley

Jessie Shelley, 61, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Biloxi, MS he made Plattsburgh, NY his home for the past 15 years. He was raised in Lancaster, PA by his late mother and stepfather Willie and Tommie Jean (Lewis) Thedford. He was preceded in death by his father Jessie Shelley and siblings Carolyn Williams and Willie Thedford, Jr. An avid Buffalo Bills fan, he was the joker of the family. Always sharing his sense of humor, and heart to match, with whomever he met. Jessie was the eldest son of 13 children. He is survived by siblings; Nellie S. of South Carolina; Lee S. (Catrina T.); Frank S.; Lisa S. (Jermaine R.); Gloria T.; Terry S.; Dorothy T.; Audrey T.; Jessica T.; and Ponzell T. (Steve T.), all of Lancaster, PA. Jessie so loved his children, Terry H.; Michelle H.; Timothy H.; Brandon H.; and Jazlynne R., all his nieces and nephews and extended family & friends in Lancaster, PA and Plattsburgh, NY.
