John S Dapo

John S. Dapo, 65, of Pellerin Road, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Friday February 11, 2022 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Hartford, TX on June 4, 1956 the son of Ralph and Thelma (Thew) Dapo.
John enjoyed fishing with his mother and grandchildren. He also enjoyed caring for his chicken and his ducks. John enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, his step fathers Bob Rivers and Ralph Bell, a brother Ralph Dapo, Jr. and sister Betty Dapo.
John is survived by his children; Amanda (Phillip) Hadley, Marlena Dapo and Brittany Dapo and her fiancé Joshua Daust, four grandchildren; PJ, Jordan, Cheyanne and Tayler, four great grandchildren; Violet, Phillip, Torvi and Liana, his ex wife Ellalane Goucher, his siblings; Florence (Jimmy Goddeau) Dapo, Becky (Glen) Prim, Donna Dapo, Thelma Burger, Nanette (Sunny) Daniels, David (Shelia Barber) Dapo, George Dapo, Danny Dapo, Archie (Linda) Dapo, Albert (Rene) Dapo and Bernice (Chuck) Miller and several niece and nephews also survive him.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday February 16, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel, burial will be later in the year at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
