John Arthur Gudin

John Arthur Gudin, 38, of Plattsburgh, NY passed away suddenly, Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland, on December 20, 1982 and the son of Amy Newgarden of Plattsburgh, New York and John M. Gudin of Ridgeville, Ohio.
John was raised in Plattsburgh and was skilled in small engine repair from CV-TEC in Plattsburgh and graduated from PHS in 2002 with an IEP Diploma. Despite a difficult life, John had such a caring heart putting others before himself. He adopted his favorite little puppy, Molly, whom he loved and adored. He was a loyal friend to many.
He is survived by his parents, his stepmother Leonor Gudin, his sister Sylvia Bellack and her husband Mike of Gansevoort, New York, step-sister Jasmine Lun Gudin, his niece Mieke Bellack, his half-brothers, William Gonya and Nathanael Gonya of Plattsburgh, his Maternal-Grandmother, Cynthia Newgarden of Plattsburgh, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by his grandfather Arthur Newgarden and grandparents John and Phyllis Gudin.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA in Peru, New York.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
