John H Redmond

John H. “Jack” Redmond, 83, of Plattsburgh, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his family by his side. He was born in Rochester, NY on August 6, 1935 the son of John and Anna (Sullivan) Redmond.
Jack served his country in the United States NAVY. Following his honorable discharge, he worked and retired from IBM, and later worked at Bombardier in Plattsburgh. Jack enjoyed his activities with friends at Lake Forest. He enjoyed being outdoors, playing golf and taking care of landscaping. He greatly enjoyed his granddaughter, Vivian.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Helen, his children; Daryle Redmond and his wife Carrie, and their daughter Vivian, his sister-in-law, Marie Curtis, his nephew and several nieces.
Calling hours will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elmore SPCA or the Plattsburgh Salvation Army.
