John R Sears Jr

Plattsburgh John R. Sears Jr., 62, of Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Monday February 13, 2017 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on June 24, 1954 the son of John and Helen (Howard) Sears. John's passion was farming. When he wasn't farming he would enjoy sitting outside "chick watching." He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Richard Carl Sears, and his sister, Angela Rose Sears, and his nephew Richard Sears. John is survived by his daughter, Jackie Lynn LaTour, his siblings; Donna Macey and her husband John, Jean Newsom and her husband Lloyd, Susan Wood, Joan Collins and her companion Kenny Macey, Jill St. John and her husband Wayne, Thomas Sears and his wife Tammie, Sandra Sears, Steven Sears and his companion Joan, Edward Sears and his wife Eleanor, Mary Lynn Darrah and her husband Ken, his grandchildren, McKayla, Noah, and Jacob, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
