Johnny Dean Duncan

Johnny D. Duncan, 52, of Atwood Road in West Chazy, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Izmir, Turkey on June 24, 1970, the son of the late Robert and Merilda (Desotelle) Duncan.
Johnny was employed as an RIT Instructor for the Norfolk Southern Railroad for many years. He was a member of the Cumberland Head Fire Department for over 14 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed small engine repair, cars, computers, and watching his son play sports.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Buffy (Stevens)Duncan, his son Douglas Duncan, his siblings ; Rhonda Jordan of Alabama, Ronald Duncan of North Carolina ,several nieces, his father in law and mother in law; Doug and Bonnie Stevens, his brother in law and sister in law; Neil and Lori Stevens, and his best friend Frank Goble .
He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers; Robert and William Duncan, and a sister Sonia Howard.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the family through Brown Funeral Home.
