Joseph Norman “Norm” St. Denis, 90, formerly of Mason Drive and Florida. Plattsburgh passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born in West Chazy on July 31, 1928 the son of Ernest and Delia (Laverriere) St. Denis. Norm was a Sgt. during WWII serving in the U. S. Army/Air Corps as crew chief during search and rescue missions. Norm owned and operated Homer Mayflower Moving and Storage. He was a life member of BPO of Elks Plattsburgh Lodge and was an avid NY Mets fan. Norm was a private pilot and enjoyed flying his own planes.
He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Norm is survived by his wife of sixty nine years Dorothy (Favreau) St. Denis, his children Michael (Lorraine) St. Denis, Mark (Maria) St. Denis, Christine (Lawrence) Neal, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Norm’s family would like to thank the staff of Meadowbrook for the care and compassion he received.
