Joseph H Reeves

Joseph “Joe” H. Reeves, 72, passed peacefully Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his home in Beekmantown with his loving family by his side and under the care of Hospice of the North Country.
He was born in Plattsburgh on November 17, 1946 to Joseph A. and Rena (Daniels) Reeves.
Joseph started working for YMCA at 17 and retired after 22 years of service. In 1983, he began his second career at the heating plant at PSUC before retiring in 1999. After retirement, Joe and Ann enjoyed their winters in Florida. Joe loved spending time outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, and enjoying nature and wild life. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren growing, laughing and playing.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, “Angie” of 52 years, his loving companion Amigo, son Joseph D. Reeves, daughters Lori (Wilfred “Bill”) Boudrieau, Susan (James “Jimmy”) Duell, grand pup Bandit, brother Frank Reeves and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Loretta Reeves, Janice Boyeau and Rena LaSalle.
Joseph’s family would like to thank Hospice of the North Country, especially nurses Heather, Becky and Michelle and social worker Becky. The family would like to extend thanks to Joseph’s grandson, Joey B for all of his help and support with the care of his grandfather.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Joseph’s Church in West Chazy. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country.
