Josephine K Bushey

West Chazy Josephine K. Bushey, 67, of West Chazy, NY passed away on Thursday January 21, 2010 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 1, 1942 the daughter of Thomas and Edith (Agoney) Welch, Sr. She loved playing BINGO, Slots and gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren. Josie was predeceased by her husband Martin Bushey, Sr., a brother Francis Welch, a niece Elaine Rock Franklin and a nephew Robert Spencer. She is survived by two daughters; Michelle Vassar and her companion Lyle Russell and Jennifer Warren and her husband Tom all of West Chazy, three of her closest angels and the ones who kept her going, Kylie and Katie Vassar of West Chazy and little Joey Warren also of West Chazy, a granddaughter Peggy Bushey and her two children, Brittney and D. J. Hemingway of South Dakota and her siblings, Gerry Langston and her husband John of OK, Peggy Spencer and her husband Bill of AL, Helen Rock and her husband Vernon of FL and Thomas Welch and his wife Joanne of Cadyville. Calling Hours will be held on Monday January 25, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel, entombment will be in Whispering Maples Memorial Mausoleum on the Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh.
