Joyce A Stone (Duprey)

Joyce A. Stone, 65, of Plattsburgh, passed on November 8, 2018 under the care of Hospice of the North Country with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 20, 1953 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of David and Alice (Relation) Duprey. Joyce will be missed for her baking, providing desserts for all of her family. She was known for her big heart and love for animals; fostering many animals and nursing them back to health when in need. She is survived by her sons; Shawn Stone and his companion Carissa, Christopher Stone and his wife Kimberly, and Joshua Stone and his wife Zeina, her grandchildren; Brandy, Brandon, Christian, Courtney,Haley, and Sasha, four great-grandchildren, her siblings; Theresa Lucia and her husband Allen, Gary Duprey and his wife Dorisanne, Bradley Duprey and his wife Jean, Janet Miner and her husband Donald, James Duprey and his companion Laurie, Laurence Duprey and his wife Julie, and Ronald Duprey and his wife Betty, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, and a nephew Ronald Jr. Calling hours will be Monday, November 12, 2018 from 2:00pm-4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 4:00pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County Feral Cat Fund.
