Joyce M Rabideau

Joyce M. Rabideau, 73, of Mooers, NY passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mooers, NY on October 2, 1945, the daughter of Noah and Irene (Gokey) LaValley. Joyce's greatest joy was her grandchildren; adoring and spoiling them every chance she could. She is survived by her mother, her three sons and their spouses; Marcel and Nikki Rabideau Jr., James Robidoux and fiancée Amanda, Ray and Natasha Rabideau, her grandchildren; Heather and Curtis and family, Kyle and Kayla and family, Holden and Kaela and family, Carlee, Logan, Andrea, Brayden, Alexa, Alana, and Alicia, her siblings; Lawrence "Peewee" LaValley, Noel LaValley, Linda Garrand, and Norman "Tun" LaValley and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, her best friend, Joseph Marcel Robidoux, her sister, Audrey Rabideau, and brother, Gabriel "Buck" LaValley. In accordance with Joyce's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:30 am at Holy Angels Church in Altona. Interment will follow in Mooers Riverside Cemetery. A Celebration of her Life will follow at VFW Post 1418 in Champlain. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to Meals on Wheels.
