Juanita R Baker

Plattsburgh Juanita R. Baker, 71, of Oak Street in Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her family by her side. She was born in Mechanicville, N.Y. on October 31, 1940, the daughter of Bertha (Jenks) Aiken Gardenier. Juanita was employed by V. Fraas and Arpak Plastics for several years and was also was a waitress at the Office Bar. She is survived by her children Roger Baker of Keeseville, Joseph Baker of California, Tammy LaMarche of Altona, Kenneth Baker of Hawaii, William Baker of Chazy, Ronald Baker of Plattsburgh, Tina Ales of Plattsburgh, Stephen Baker of Plattsburgh, her siblings; Eileen LaPell of Minerva, Ruth Ashline of Mineville, Marie Bouldin of Minevelle, 24 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her mother and two brothers, Edmund and Ronald Aiken passed away earlier . Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 3:00 to 4:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
