Judy C Young

Judy C. Young, 65, of Guide Board Road, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, peacefully at her home with family by her side. She was born in Beekmantown on June 12, 1953, the daughter of Francis J. and Frances Young.
She graduated from Beekmantown Central School and Clinton Community College and held various administrative positions throughout the North Country for many years. Judy embraced life with a kind, gentle manner and touched the hearts of many who knew her. Along with spending time with her lifelong partner, Lex Cleary, Judy’s family and friends were her life and spending time with them was the key to her happiness. Along, with gardening, entertaining family and friends was a passion she embraced. Just one more chance to give to others, the epitome of who she was. A mother,a friend, a mentor. Simply put, an angel who is much loved and will be greatly missed by all.
She survived by her daughters Angela Furnia and Brandy Young, her mother Frances Smith ,her grandchildren; Matthew Lafountain, Derek Fagan, Johnathan Furnia, Zachary Furnia, a great granddaughter Azalea Lafountain, her siblings; Ruth Chartier, Dwayne Young and Gerald Young, and her longtime companion “Lex” Cleary, and many other family and friends.
She is predeceased by her father Francis Young.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
