Julie E. “Jewels” Dapo, 63, of Mooers, NY, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 23, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side, under the case of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on May 2, 1956, the daughter of Robert and Maude (Burl) Daniels.
She loved flowers and being outdoors enjoying the wildlife. Often she and her companion Ricky enjoyed riding their motorcycle. She’ll be remembered for her caring attitude to those she loved, especially her grandchildren. She was an animal lover, enjoying her time with her beloved dog, Butterball.
She is survived by her companion Ricky Babbie, her children; Wendy Campbell, Whanda Carbino and her husband Bryan, Bobbi Jo Edwards and her husband Shawn, Angel Dapo and her companion Jason Wright, her grandchildren; Austin Dapo, Shawn Dapo, Shania Coggins, Deziree Coggins, Dejon Coggins, Nevaeh Coggins, Naiden Edwards, Wes Wright and Brett Edwards, her great-grandchildren; Jaiden Dapo, Noah Dapo, Aaliyah Coggins and Jahseh Coggins, and one coming in February; Julien Coggins, and many siblings, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, and her granddaughter, Katelynn Carbino,
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 11:00-12:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
