Karen Roberts (Boyce)

Karen Marie (Boyce) Roberts was granted her angel wings on July 9, 2023 at age 63, after a 17-year battle with cancer. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Karen graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1977 after which she married her soulmate and devoted her life being a doting mother and grandmother, as well as an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Her hobbies included traveling with her family, gardening, and spending time at the gym. She found a second family among her friends at the YMCA gym where she spent many of her mornings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Tom Roberts, Sr., her children; Thomas (Rachelle) Roberts, Jr., Stacie (CJ) Minchoff, Adam (Mayu) Roberts, Joseph (Kristi) Roberts and her 9 beautiful grandchildren-Natalie, Jordanne, Alexandra, Brady, Connor, Carter, Isabelle, Camellia and Emilia.
She is also survived by her brothers Harry (Linda) Boyce and her life long family friends David and Linda Daniels and Steven and Cheryl Rivers.
She is predeceased by her mother, Constance Stone, her father Harry Boyce and her brother Jay Boyce.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at St. Peter's Church at 1:00pm, burial will follow at Divine Mercy Cemetery on Cumberland Head. In lieu of flowers please send donations to either the YMCA Plattsburgh or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
