Karen Anne Lavarnway

Mrs. Karen A. Lavarnway, 77, of Valcour Boulevard, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the UVM Health Network- CVPH in Plattsburgh with family by her side. She was born in Hudson Falls, N.Y. on April 6, 1938, the daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Harsha) Brunelle. Karen along with her husband owned and operated several businesses including R & K Office Supply in Plattsburgh. She was also a homemaker and loved and raised many children. She is survived by her husband of over 42 years, Rodney Lavarnway, her children and their spouses; Mark and Cathy Murray of Colorado Springs, Co., Madeline" Midge" Murray-Goodrich of Lockport, N.Y., April Murray-Lashway and husband Claude of Morrisonville, Scott and Nanci Murray of Morrisonville, A.J. and Mary Murray III of Milford, N.Y., her sisters and brothers in law; Linda and Jim Faso of Las Vegas, NV., Joanne and Joe Crisci of Las Vegas, NV. ; 12 grandchildren; Katherine, Hanne, Michael, Nicholas, Sarah, Cara, Alexandra, Jackson, Isabella, Bradley, Alexander and Kevin, and 4 great grandchildren. In accordance with Karen's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Victory Church.
