Karen A Burdo (Maisano)

Karen Burdo, 68, of Plattsburgh, NY passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 6, 2023 at the Massena Hospital. She was born on October 22, 1954, the daughter of William Maisano and Anne Giambruno.

Karen enjoyed cooking for her family and extended family, watching her grandchildren play sports and sing, volunteering for the church and her community and going to the casino.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Gerald and brother Richard Maisano.

She is survived by her sons; Kyle Burdo and his wife Nikki, Craig Burdo and his wife Lori, Chris Burdo and his wife Heather, her grandchildren Sydney, Sophie, Halle, Brody, Kaden and Aubrey, Her sister Cathy Maisano, brother Tom Maisano, father-in-law Homer Burdo, Sister-in-law Michele Maisano, her best friend Sue Baker and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 11 from 4:00 – 7:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at 12:00pm at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh, burial to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
