Kathryn R Reiter

Kathryn R. Reiter, 84 of Plattsburgh, passed away on Monday June 28, 2021 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on January 30, 1937, the daughter of Elmer and Julia (Bassett) Ryan.
Kathryn met her husband Delbert (Bud) Reiter while he was stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base. They were married on February 1, 1959. Together they traveled while he was in the air force. She lived in St. Louis, Missouri most of her life until moving home to Plattsburgh two years ago to be closer to family.
Kathryn was predeceased by her husband.
She is survived by her children; David Reiter and his wife Melanie of AZ and Richard Reiter and his wife Valeria of MD, three grandchildren; Victoria, Phoebe and Rod, three step grandchildren; Emily, Michael and Allison and her sisters; Dorothy Carr and Ruth Ryan both of Plattsburgh
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday July 7, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. John’s Church in Plattsburgh. Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center. Kathryn’s family invites everyone to bring photos and stories to share.
