Kathy Lee Caouette, 60, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, after a brief battle with Lymphoma. Her family was by her side. Kathy was born in Plattsburgh, NY on May 31, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Audrey (King) and Ralph Tusa. Kathy attended Plattsburgh High School, graduating class of 1973. She continued her education at Our Lady of Victory Secretarial School, class of 1975. Kathy was a devoted and valued employee of Manpower Group for over 29 years in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Each year, Kathy would travel to both New York and Florida to visit and spend time with family. Kathy will be remembered for her wonderful laugh, sense of humor, and sweet nature. Her cheerfulness and fun loving spirit were contagious. Kathy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Paul Caouette and their two sons Matthew and Jacob. Kathy is also survived by her brother Lynn Tusa (Susan), her sisters-in-law Karen Bowers and Michelle Simpson (Rob), and Paul's parents Barbara and Raymond Caouette. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. Kathy was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Kentwood, Michigan. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, NY. The family will gather in the Emmaus Room at St. Peter's Church to greet family and friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations be made in Kathy's memory to the Seton Academy Elementary School, 23 St. Charles Street, Plattsburgh NY 12901.
