Kenneth J Hewson

Kenneth J. Hewson, 73, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Plattsburgh Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on February 27, 1948 the son of William and Grace (White) Hewson. Kenneth served in Vietnam as a U. S. Marine. He was awarded the Purple Heart for bravery.
Kenneth was employed at Northern Sanitation for 40 years. He was a great dad and brother. He will be deeply missed especially by his son, who said his dad was his hero and soldier.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Grace Hewson and his brother, Larry .
Kenneth is survived by his son James J. Hewson, his siblings; Raymond Seymour, Ronald and his companion Carrie, Joe and his companion Cindee Simpson, and his grandchildren; Nancy, Ethel, Linda and her husband, Randi, Donald, Bill, Alan and Clarence.
Visitation will be Saturday June 12, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. Plattsburgh.
A funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Chapel.
Interment with military honors will follow at Stafford Cemetery on the Butler Road.
