Kenneth J Tufts

Schuyler Falls Kenneth J. "Ken" Tufts, 52, of Peasleeville Road, Schuyler Falls, NY and formerly of Dover, NH, passed away on Saturday August 21, 2010 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Fort Ord, CA on October 28, 1957 the son of Norman and Elsie (Comstock) Tufts. Ken attended Dover High School in N.H. and later went on to attend CVTEC in Plattsburgh, where he received a certificate in welding and small engine repair. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. Ken was predeceased by his daughter Tamaria Buskager, a brother Raymond Tufts and a sister in law Diana Stillberger. He is survived by his life partner and friend Kathleen Whittier, a son Kenneth R. "Kenny" Tufts, Jr. at home, his parents Norman and Elsie Tufts of Port St. Lucie, FL, two brothers; Michael Tufts and his companion Sue of Hampton Beach, NH and Daniel Tufts and his with Mary of Port St. Lucie, FL, two sisters; Carol Adams and her husband Rick and Penny Luanna Morin and her husband John all of Port St. Lucie, FL, a goddaughter Katelynn Rose Gilpin, his nieces and nephews; Twila, Mandy, Danielle, Jessica, Melissa, Charleen, Jamie, Elizabeth, Tina, Haleigh, Thyra, Peter, Chris, Mike, Nick, Jacob and Kyle and several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousin and his two best friends; Daniel Giddings and family and Tasha LaFountain and family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 26, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday August 27, 2010 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held on Friday August 27, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
