Kevin Mccabe Curley

Morrisonville Mr. Kevin McCabe Curley, 56, of Bullis Road, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the UVM Health Network- CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Hartford, CT on September 27, 1960, the son of the late David and Arlington (Bowen) Curley. Kevin was employed in the Information Technology Department at SUNY Plattsburgh for over 17 years. He was a member of St. John's Church and the Saint John XXIII Newman Center, a past coordinator of the Soup Kitchen at St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mills, and a member of the Senate at SUNY Plattsburgh. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with a sidecar, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was known as a kind hearted and generous soul. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Nichols) Curley, his children and their spouses; Kasey Curley and companion Jordon Darrah, Michael and Janice Reeves, Danielle and Matthew Powers , his siblings and their spouses; Eileen Curley and Tom Landers, David and Gail Curley, William Curley , Dennis and Karen Curley, Daniel and Jennie Curley, a sister in law; Marianne Curley, his grandchildren; Abbi and Lucas Reeves, Caleb and Collin Powers, Colton Darrah, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Michael Curley, a nephew Dustin Curley and a niece Shannon Curley. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00am at the Saint John XXIII Newman Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to Hospice of the North Country or the Alzheimers Assistance Center at SUNY Plattsburgh.
