He is also survived by his aunts Loretta (Robert) Breyette from West Chazy, NY, Ann Rounds, Lyon Mountain, NY and her companion Mike Backus, and Rebecca Bailey from Cullman, AL and Uncle Nathan Collins of Plattsburgh, NY. He also left behind many cousins, including Genessa Rounds of Lyon Mountain, nieces and nephews including Rebecca Dewhurst from West Chazy, Justin (Gina) LaMora, Rachel (Justin) Wade, Amanda Avanzato, Zachary Avanzato, Joshua Avanzato, Taylor Avanzato, Brody LaMora, Maggie LaMora and great-nieces and nephews: Christian and Austin LaMora from CA, Olivia Wade from Idaho, Grayson Avanzato and his amazing grandson Korben LaMora from Peru, NY. Kevin grew up in Lyon Mountain and graduated from Northern Adirondack Central School in 1988. After many odd jobs, he started working at Camoplast making snowmobile tracks. He then advanced to Bombardier in 1999, learning many of the trades before becoming a Quality Assurance Technician, and continuing that position when Alstom took over about 3 years ago. Kevin found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. Whether it was a quiet evening at home or a lively family gathering, he was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved most. He spent countless hours in nature, appreciating the peace and beauty of the great outdoors. Whether he was hunting deer or turkey with his boys in the early morning mist, casting a line into still waters, or tending to his vegetable garden, Kevin embraced every moment spent in the fresh air. Kevin was always busy, whether he was fixing something, woodcrafting, or just creating a beautiful piece to share with family and friends. Most recently, he started a firewood business with his son, Kyle, brother Ken, and late father, Gary, where great times were had by all! Kevin was a man of many talents, but it was his kind heart and deep love for his family that truly defined him. He was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed every moment he spent with his sons and grandson, Korben. His donations to the SPCA also demonstrated his generous spirit. He was always caring for animals that brought him so much happiness, especially his faithful dog, Ben. At Kevin's request, arrangements will be made by Brown Funeral Home and will have a celebration of life for close friends and family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity. The family would like to thank his Bombardier/Alstom coworkers and friends for their support and kindness and also Casey's family for their continued love and support during his hospitalization.
