Kim M. Pavone, 63, of Plattsburgh, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at her home with her family and friends by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh on February 22, 1960, the daughter of Norton and Shirley (Kirby) Lapham. Kim attended Peru High School. She worked for Nine Platt Hospitality managing several operations. Kim later worked for Champlain Valley Electric as a Lighting Specialist. She was predeceased by her father Norton Lapham, a brother Rudy Lapham and her grandmother, Ione Kirby. Kim is survived by her mother, Shirley Aguilar, a daughter Brittani Pavone and her fiance Benjamin Paulsen, her siblings; Shawn Lapham and his companion Lynn and Glenda Lapham, a nephew Shawn Ezero, a special aunt Christine Miner, and her uncles; Alan Kirby and Ronnie (Loretta) Kirby, several cousins also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery later in the year. Donations in Kim's memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
