Larry P Mehan Sr

Morrisonville Larry P. Mehan, Sr., 68, of Soper Street, Morrisonville, NY passed away on Thursday October 13, 2011 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Montpelier, VT on April 8, 1943 the son of Madge (Wright) Mehan. Larry graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1962. He then went on to work at National Bisquit Company in Plattsburgh and later Binks Trailer Sales in Albany, NY. Larry enjoyed drawing, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his parents, an infant son Larry, Jr., a brother Steven Mehan and a brother in law Thomas Sherman and sister in law Elise Ciccone. Larry is survived by his wife of 47 years Carol (Ciccone) Mehan, whom he married on April 18, 1964 at St. John's Church in Plattsburgh, a son Patrick Mehan of Morrisonville, a daughter April Barcomb and her husband Todd of West Chazy, a grandchild Madison Barcomb to be born in December, a sister Ellen "Nell" Sherman of Peru, a brother in law George "Chick" Ciccone of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Sunday October 16, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, a funeral service will follow at 3:00. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
