Laura M Beaudet

Laura M. Beaudet, 89, of Beekman Towers in Plattsburgh, passed away Tuesday March 16, 2021 at the her son Michael’s home surrounded by her loving family under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Plattsburgh on August 8, 1931, the daughter of the late Thomas and Armina (Corron) Coates.
She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Laura was a parishioner of St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh. She will be remembered for being devoted, selfless, her kindness and grace, no matter what was going on.
Laura married the love of her life, Alvin Beaudet in 1950 and they raised six children together.
She is survived by three sons; Michael Beaudet and his wife Tara, Conrad Beaudet , Adrian and wife Donna, daughter Mary Anne Kusyk, his grandchildren, Amy, Corey, Carrie, Frank, Megan, Kathleen, Chelsy, Timothy, Christopher, Joshua and Kim, great grandchildren; Elizabeth, Owen, Madison, Mason, Davione, Emelia, Logan, Tori, Paige, Allison, several nieces and nephews also survive her.
Laura was predeceased by her husband and two sons Stephen and Dale Beaudet and a brother Gerald Coates.
Calling hours will be held on Friday March 19, 2021 from 11:00 to 12:30 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Peter’s Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
