Laurie A Mckinnon

Laurie A. McKinnon, 58, of State Route 22B, Morrisonville, NY, passed away on Saturday June 1, 2019. She was born in Plattsburgh on March 23, 1961.
Laurie graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 1979. She worked for the New York State Department of Corrections at Green Haven Correctional, Washington Correctional, Down State Correctional and later at Altona Correctional.
Laurie loved her animals; Tucker, Skout, Krim and Clover.
She was predeceased by her mother Nancy Hobbs.
Laurie is survived by her husband of 21 years Carl McKinnon, her father Jack Covey, her step father Dan Hobbs, her siblings; Rick Covey, Barb (Randy) Mangold, Jayson (Lisa) Covey and Jessica (Laurie) Covey, her brother-in-law Mike (Gina) McKinnon, a sister-in-law Karla (Levi) Strauss several nieces and nephews also survive her.
Calling hours will be held on Friday June 7, 2019 from Noon to 1:00 pm at St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 at St. Alexander’s Church, burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Ellenburg Center, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations in Laurie’s memory may be made to the Elmore SPCA.
