Lawrence “Larry” Boulrice, 86, of Altona passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Dannemora on March 14, 1935 the son of Oveldia and Marie “Hattie” (Lafave) Boulrice.
Lawrence was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a charter member of the Altona Volunteer Fire Department. He worked at Harris Graphics and later Prim Hall. Lawrence was passionate in his woodworking and created numerous pieces of furniture that he shared with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers; Vernon and Ronald Boulrice, two sisters-in-law Janice LaFountain, May (Raymond) LaVarnway.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of sixty-three years Carol (LaBarge) Boulrice, their children; Michael (DeAnn Gregory) Boulrice, Gregory (Carol) Boulrice, Amy (Troy) LaPoint, a brother; Daniel (Cheryl) Boulrice, a sister Betty (Ronald) Peryer, a sister-in-law Marie Boulrice, two brothers-in-law; Wayne (Jeanette) LaBarge, Clarence LaFountain, his aunt Stella (Donald) Mitchell, seven grandchildren; Alexis, Gregory, Matthew Boulrice, Delaney and Brady Boulrice, Kate and Allison LaPoint, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 10, 2021 from 4:00 p.m.to 6:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Altona.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Angel’s Church.
Interment will follow at Holy Angel’s Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Altona Fire Department or Holy Angel’s Church.
