Lawrence I "Larry" Giroux

Plattsburgh Mr. Lawrence I. "Larry" Giroux, 49, of Route 22 passed away, Monday, November 16, 2009 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York on April 25, 1960 the son of Leo and Theresa C. (Bedard) Giroux. Lawrence attended St. Peter's School, Beekmantown Central School, ARC and Third Age Adult Center. He was a member of St. Peter's Church. Lawrence was predeceased by a sister Monica Giroux. He is survived by his parents Leo and Theresa Giroux of Plattsburgh, three sisters; Kathryn Giroux of Essex Junction, Vermont, Marian Knox and her husband Kenneth of Amherst, NY, Lucy Giroux of Plattsburgh and Patricia Gallagher of Plattsburgh, five brothers and sisters-in-law; Joseph and Carolyn Giroux, John and Rosemary Giroux, Marcel and Gail Giroux, George and Debra Giroux all of Plattsburgh, Philip and Pamela Bronder-Giroux of Malden, MA, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November, 20, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church with his nephew Fr. Joseph Giroux presiding. Interment will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Third Age or the Emmaus Room at St. Peter's Church.
