Lawrence F "Larry" Liberty

Plattsburgh Lawrence "Larry" F. Liberty, 66, of Rugar Street, Plattsburgh, New York, passed away on Monday February 11, 2013 at CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on July 12, 1946 the son of Thomas and Margaret (Gero) Liberty. Larry graduated from Saranac Central School in 1965, soon after he enlisted in the United States Army and retired from the Army Reserves in 1981. He worked for Plattsburgh Laundry, Forest Park Mobile Home Park in Glens Falls, St. Joseph's Church in Treadwells Mills and later retired from Unique Packaging Corp in Plattsburgh. Larry enjoyed watching, NASCAR, Yankee Baseball, wrestling and playing on his computer. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother John Liberty, three sisters; Patricia LaReau, Elizabeth Duval and Barbara Bradley. Larry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lettie (Martineau) Liberty of Plattsburgh, three sons; Lawrence E. Liberty and his wife Christa of Plattsburgh, Leland Liberty of Plattsburgh and Francis Liberty and his wife Elizabeth of WA, nine grandchildren; Sandra, Tyler, Haydin, Caleb, Austin, Hayley, Wyatt, Ella and Cade, four great grandchildren; Keira, Kayden, Allyria and Konnor, his mother-in-law Frieda Martino, two brothers-in-law Donald Martino and Carlton Bradley, two sisters-in-law; Donna Sly and Joan Liberty, several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 14, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
