Leita A Laclair

Leita A. LaClair, 89, of Bushey Blvd. passed away Thursday October 7, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side while under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Chazy on September 7, 1932 the daughter of Edmond and Mabel (Taylor) LaPlante.
Leita retired from CVPH Medical Center where she was a medical transcriptionist. She enjoyed reading, fishing, sewing, camping on Valcour Island and boating. She married Raymond “Ray” LaClair on October 17, 1953 at Sacred Heart Church, Chazy.
Leita was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Raymond, her siblings; Taylor, Leland, Lawrence, Theresa, Myrtle, Natalie and Gladys.
Leita is survived by her children; Jeffrey (Carol) LaClair, Raymond (Lynn) LaClair, Brenda LeClair, Cathy LaClair, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leita’s memory may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
