Leona T. Conroy

Leona T. Conroy, 72, of Morrisonville, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, NY with her loving family by her side. Born April 5, 1951, in Redford, NY, the daughter of Clifford and Stella (Parrotte) Perry.

She married her sweetheart, Arnold (John) Conroy on 11 July 1970, in Redford, NY, and had a wonderful life together for 53 years. She will always be remembered for her infectious smile, kindness and generous heart. She loved her family and was so proud of them. She welcomed everyone to their home and spent time with family and friends sharing coffee, laughs, and beautiful memories.

She is survived by her husband, John and their children, Tracie Timmerman (Bradley) of Burlington, Iowa, Lisa Rock (Tim Neverett) of Mooers, Michael Conroy (Kiera) of Morrisonville, and her brother Charles (Judy) Perry of Redford, NY.
Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was present for all 8 grandchildren’s birth and a large presence in their life. Her grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Cheyenne Conroy, Alyssa Rock, Kayleigh Conroy, Madison Timmerman, Tyler Timmerman, Ava and Mya Conroy felt her love. She was also proud to be a great grandmother of 6, Kadence, Kennedy, Oakland, Greyson, Sidney and Bennett.

Preceded in death by her parents, Stella, and Clifford, sisters: Agnes and Margaret, brothers: Roger, Richard, Edward, and Francis.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, best friend and the glue that held her family together.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 3 Park Row, Cadyville.  A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at 3:00pm at St. Alexander's Cemetery.
