Lyon Mountain Leonard "Lennie" T. Butler, 47, of Standish Road in Lyon Mountain, NY, passed away on Sunday November 8, 2015 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on June 13, 1968. Lennie grew up in Plattsburgh and attended Plattsburgh High School. He worked on many construction jobs over the years all over New York State. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, cooking, ice fishing, camping, hunting, traveling and caring for his animals. Lennie is survived by his companion Michelle Martin of Lyon Mountain, his children; McKenzie Butler and his companion Danielle Mashtare of Peru and Alexandria Butler of West Chazy, his stepchildren; Donald Barber, IV of Plattsburgh and Shelby Mertn of West Chazy, a brother Albert Ball and his fiance Christine of Plattsburgh, his nephews; Jesse, Jacob and Jarred Ball, a cousin David Butler of TX, his adopted parents; Donald and Linda Gagnon of Dannemora and their daughter Jessica. Calling hours will be held on Friday November 13, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
