Walter Rizzie , 62, of Saranac, New York, passed away on April 16, 2024, at home. He was born on February 17, 1962, in Saranac, NY. Walt was a beloved family man who will be remembered for his generosity and love for the outdoors. He dedicated 25 years of his life to his career at Integrity Towing. In his free time, Walt enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping at Silver Lake, boating, playing cards, cooking and most of all, spending quality time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Scarborough-Rizzie, daughters Jennifer, Elisa, Leeann, Rachael, and granddaughters Lillian, Maya and Grace. Walt was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorri Rizzie and parents Elizabeth and Leslie Rizzie, and brother Herbert Reynolds. A ceremony to honor and celebrate Walt's life will be held at High Falls Lounge on May 4, 2024 from 1-4. Browns Funeral Home in Plattsburgh, NY, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements. Walter will be deeply missed by all of his family members and those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone that loved him.
