Linda Mae Bonsie

Linda Mae Bonsie, 74, of Joe Wood Road, Altona, NY, passed away on Monday March 14, 2022 at The Alice Center in Malone, NY. She was born in Plattsburgh on May 4, 1947 the daughter of Arthur and Elise (Hayes) Trudo.
Linda grew up in Jericho, NY and attended Altona Central School, where she was active in Drama Club, a cheerleader and in the school band. She married her high school sweet heart Louie Bonsie, II. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, photography and in recent years collecting butterflies.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Louie, her siblings; Beverly, Gloria, Arthur and Roy.
Linda is survived by her children; Louie Bonsie, III, Sherry Barcomb and her companion Bert Reardon, Malayna Hart and her companion Bobby Walters, three grandchildren; Ana Butchino, Talya Butchino, Harley Barcomb and Savanah Hart and several other children she considered grandchildren, one great granddaughter Scarlett Skye Perry, her siblings; Charles Victor Trudo, Cynthia Mary Trudo and Michael Anthony Trudo and his wife Laurie Booth-Trudo, several nieces and nephews also survive her and her aunt Elizabeth Hayes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday March 18, 2022 at 10:30 am at Holy Angels Church in Altona. Burial will be later in the year in the parish cemetery.
Donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Altona Fire Dept.
