Linda A Burdeau

Plattsburgh Linda Burdeau, 66, of Edgewood Drive, Saranac Lake, NY, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. She was born in Plattsburgh on February 26, 1947, the daughter of the late Harold and Lorraine (Forkey) Burdeau. Linda grew up in Mooers Forks where she made many forever friends. She loved visiting with family and friends, dancing, singing with her brother-in-law Gary and spending time with her beloved cat Cuddles. She had worked for Champlain Valley Industries. Linda was predeceased by her father in 1997 and her mother in 2012. She is survived by a sister Elaine Sargeant and her husband Gary of Plattsburgh, her nephew Jay Sargeant and great nephew Connor Sargeant of Peru, her nieces Jamie Anderson and her husband Rob of Plattsburgh, Jodie Gitto and her husband Steve of Hinesburg, Vermont, her great nephews Gary Sargeant and his wife Jolie of Ellenburg Depot, and a great niece Jessica Gregware and her husband Ryan of Sanford, FL, her great great nephews Eli and Jameson Sargeant of Ellenburg Depot, and her great great niece Mirabel Sargeant also of Ellenburg Depot, several cousins also survive her. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, NY. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Alan Shnob, Pastor of St. Augustine's Church, Peru officiating. Entombment will be at Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Ellenburg Depot. Linda's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Nucella, Dr. Viscardo and the staff of ICU for the excellent, compassionate care given to her during her final days.
