Linda M Lafountain

Linda M. LaFountain, 78, of Tan Bark Drive, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away June 18, 2024 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh. She was born in Chateaugay, NY on June 24, 1945 the daughter of Francis and Esther Peck. Linda graduated from Chateaugay High School in 1963. Soon after she attended Licensed Practical Nursing School. Linda worked at CVPH Medical Center for 44 1/2 years as an LPN. She enjoyed reading, quilting and was a member Guild. Linda and her husband traveled often to Virginia, The Grand Canyon, New York City, Florida and Las Vegas. She is survived by her children, Lisa (Alan) Jodoin and Brian (Christine) LaFountain, grandchildren, Chad Jodoin, Shanae (Brad) Lazure, Brandon LaFountain, and Susan LaFountain, a great granddaughter, Brielle Lazure, two brothers, Gary Peck, Eric (Carolyn) Peck. Linda was predeceased by her parents, and her husband Maurice. Visitation will be Monday June 24, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. A Funeral service will follow in Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
