Linda M. McDonald, 75, of Mooers Forks, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with her family by her side. She was born Wednesday, December 1st, 1948, the daughter of Lawrence Patnode and Jane (Perry) Patnode. She married Marlon McDonald on July 4, 2003. Linda was very talented in many forms of artistic expression including crafts, sculpture and visual arts. She loved the outdoors, gardening, traveling on "the big road" visiting every state and enjoying the experience of life. She especially loved the babies. During her retirement years she was very happy and content sitting in front of her easel painting. Linda also enjoyed being the owner/operator of Mooers Forks Bottle Redemption, where she formed many friendships through good conversation with good people creating great and lasting memories. Linda is survived by her husband, Marlon McDonald; children, Lisa Bodah and Jody Bodah and his partner Michelle Johnson; grandchildren, Megan Moser, Katrina Moser, Allison Hicks and her husband Jordan, and Elizabeth Allen; great grandchildren, Lilly and Sophia Moser, Jaxon Turner, Raven Hicks, Salvadeo Hicks and Brice Hicks; siblings, Randy Patnode and Cindy Kimball of West Chazy, Laura Wilson of Altona, brothers in law; Wallace LaGoy, Allen Provost, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings; Daniel Patnode, Judy Barber, Sandy LaGoy, Debbie Provost, James Patnode, Ellen Rabideau, brothers in law and sisters in law; Richard Barber, Carol Patnode, and Grant Wilson, nephews Shawn Patnode, Larry Rabideau, Joseph Patnode, and Stephen Provost. The family would like to give a special thank you to Paul and Destiny Allen and Wanda Liberty. There will be a Celebration of Life for Linda at a later date.
