Lisa M Cohen-Remy

Lisa M Cohen-Remy after fighting a courageous battle with CRPS, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023, at her home in Peru, NY. She was born on August 7, 1967, to Reginald and Sandra Bresette. She graduated from Beacon High School. Upon moving to Peru, NY, she was employed at Dannemora Ford and then Department of Motor Vehicles in Plattsburgh for 15 years. She is survived by her loving husband Richard J. Remy Jr. of 24 years, her daughters Brittany Martin (Shane), Krysten E Remy (Kevin) and her son Glenn R Cohen (Michelle). She was fondly known to her six grandchildren as GiGi, whom she loved dearly. Ethan, Addilyn, Zoey, Aria, Bryleigh and Novalia. Lisa always had a connection to Our Blessed Mother, Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Angels, and the Tree of Life. She loved to visit Mother Cabrini Shrine in Peru NY. Lisa loved going on cruises, the NY Knicks, and the ocean. She was predeceased by her Daughter Nicole Cohen, by her Parents, Grandparents, many aunts, and uncles of the Bresette & Baker Family. Lisa was a loving, caring person who will be sorely missed by her family and friends. A Celebration of Life will take place at Living goods Restaurant & Brewery on Bear Swamp Road in Peru on Saturday November 25th from 5-9 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her name can be made to: American Cancer Society Relay for Life Plattsburgh NY “The Peanut Gallery”.
