Lorena M Weldon

Lorena M. Weldon, 100, formerly of McCutcheon Lane, Saranac, New York, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Meadowbrook Health Care. She was born in Saranac Lake, New York, on September 3, 1910 the daughter of Philmore and Ellen (Brien) Bressette. Lorena was an avid reader, playing bingo and reading the Press Republican. She was a member of church of the Assumption in Redford, Happy Senior Club and Saranac Senior Citizens Club. She worked at the Saranac Central School where you would always find her in the cafeteria. A nephew Warren Bressette of Lake Placid and many cousins survive her. Her husband Lawrence Weldon predeceased Lorena in 1966. At Lorena's request there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Interment will be Friday April 29, 2011 after a 9:00 a.m. memorial mass, which will be celebrated at the Church of the Assumption.
